A greener way to go: Sustainable funerals and burials
Event description
*** Sorry, folks. Event postponed, to be rescheduled soon. ***
About the session
Hear Kimba and co from The Last Hurrah Funerals talk about options for a more sustainable death and burial. From eco shrouds and coffins made of cardboard, cane, and wicker, to human composting, natural burials, and bringing your dead home to bid them goodbye. There will be example shrouds and caskets on display, and Kimba will happily answer all your death-related questions.
As their website states, the team at Last Hurrah can’t promise they'll be 100% mature or 100% solemn when they talk
about death, dying and end of life care, but they do promise to be
100% honest, 100% compassionate and 100% entertaining!
