Last Impressions
Event description
Four Letter Word Theatre presents 'Last Impressions', an original musical.
In the tough theatre scene of 1995 New York, twin writing duo Astrid Valentine and Felix Day are offered a deal too good to be true, a job with ‘The Fitzroy Follies’, juggernauts of Broadway. But upon reading their contracts, the siblings realise that they’ve made a terrible mistake, and signed away the rights to their show. Astrid’s lawyer husband, Theo Valentine formulates a plan to help, he convinces disgraced actress Camille Rivers to return to the stage. Using her starpower and infamy Theo plans to manipulate the Fitzroy Follies. But before things can get better, they get worse and Camille suddenly dies before the paperwork is finalised. Desperate to maintain appearances, Theo, Astrid and Felix decide, recklessly, to employ an impersonator to ‘play pretend’ as Camille. But how long can the facade continue before ‘The Follies’ and its employees realise the truth?
