Event description

The Last Legend - tickets on sale from 6pm

2024 sees the return of our new format event that caters for everyone and creates your own last legend status.

A Christmas Celebration and Fundraiser for the Living Legend Retired Race Horses.

We are at back at woodlands historic park on a scenic 2.5km loop course.

An event that takes place on an undulating trail of 2.5km length.

While this is one event and only one is crowned the last legend,

Every participant takes home a participant medal.

You can even choose your entry fee based on your goal laps/distance, but theres a catch, what you choose is your max.

There is a restart schedule per lap, so once you complete your lap you rest until the clock counts you in to restart.

Start Slow, enjoy a walk even, then things start to get faster, until time beats you.

Based on a diminishing time, Lap times are sped up until you cant make it back in time.

With Lap1 providing 30minutes, a stroll in the park for most

Everyone starts at 8am, and keeps to next loop start schedule, else they are out - please note this schedule may change before race day. Effecting Laps 21 onwards.

Refund policy

Below is our standard refund policy. This first paragraph is most important. If you cant accept our refund policy below, please do not enter the event. We have already started to incur non refundable costs, so we ask you to acknowledge and accept the below, regardless of circumstances, or just don't enter. When asked about refunds and transfers we will politely direct you toward the policy that you acknowledge and agree too. We don't wont to offend, we just ask that you understand the conditions of entry. Refunds are available up to 30 days before race day, your refund will be transferred to your credit card, less a 50% Admin Fee. Within 30 days of event day there are no refunds. Please understand considerable cost is spent leading up to events, preventing full refunds. Don't ask for refunds outside the terms or conditions as refusal only offends and we don't want to offend you. We always recommend each individual if concerned about the possible need for a refund that they consider their own insurance to cover cancellation or inability to run in the event due to personal circumstances. Cancellation Due to the nature, location and weather conditions often present at trail running events, forces outside the control of the event organisers and land owners may force the event to be cancelled or postponed. Cancellation could be as late as the morning of the event or possibly during the event if conditions dictate such action. If the event is cancelled before the event the race organisers in some instances will work with the authorities to try and reschedule the event. If a date can not be suitably found the event will be deemed cancelled for that calendar year. NO REFUNDS will be issued for late cancellation or postponement of event. We always recommend each individual if concerned about the possible need for a refund that they consider their own insurance to cover cancellation or inability to run in the event due to personal circumstances.
