Step into an evening of literature, music, and atmosphere at Casablanca Marrickville.

Late Night Tales is a new literary club from The Shepherd Moon that brings together local emerging writers for short live readings in an open and welcoming setting, hosted by one of Sydney’s most stylish fashion stores.

With a variety of readings across genre, each work will be accompanied by atmospheric live music from our talented artist Lorenzo Guevara, who will shape the sound of fiction, memoir and fragments of works both published and in progress.

And in between sets, there’s time to enjoy Casablanca’s timeless atmosphere, browse its vintage interior, and meet others in the room. Expect a warm, intimate setting, thoughtful writing, and a new kind of literary event that naturally invites conversation and community.

Whether you’re arriving as a reader, listener, or simply out of curiosity, this is an evening for stories, atmosphere, and good company.
