Well friends, it's official. After nearly six years together, The Melancholics are calling it quits at the end of 2026.
Well… probably. Let’s call it a long hiatus and leave the door open for that inevitable reunion gig.
But first, we’re launching our new EP Later, Sunshine on SATURDAY 5 DECEMBER at one of the main venues that has been part of our story and the place we played our first ever full band gig, The Cave Inn.
We are very honoured to have some of the brilliant bands we've had the pleasure of playing with along the way (and one we have always wanted to play with) sharing the bill with us: The Trams + The Neon Signs + Tin Star
This show is our chance to celebrate nearly six years of music, gigs, adventures and friendships,
New songs. Old songs. Loud guitars. A few drinks. The excellent pizza The Cave Inn is known for. Probably a few feelings.
Come help us give The Melancholics a proper send-off.
