5-course Gourmet Vegan Meal Catered by Lady and the Shallot

Join NJveg and Vegan in NJ for a catered, gourmet 5-course FriendsGiving/ThanksLiving vegan meal! Lady and the Shallot is a completely vegan, gluten free, and nut free restaurant located inside the Trenton Farmers Market. Our prior meals here (pre-pandemic) were amazing, among the highlights of the year, and drew raves – including from one of NJveg's members, “The best meal I’ve ever had!”
This will be a seated, 5-course dinner. The menu by owners Francesca Avitto and Kate Wnek will be announced soon. For reference, the menu from our April dinner:
- ONE: Cannellini | Leek | Terhune Farm House White | Gremolata | Olio Di Peperoncino
- TWO: Tofu Ricotta | Caramelized Shallots | Sweet Basil | Toasted Crostini
- THREE: Field Greens | Radicchio | Shaved Asparagus | Sweet Basil and Balsamic Vinaigrette
- PALATE CLEANSER: Fruit Sorbet
- FOUR: Braised Cabbage Steak | Sweet Curry Black Rice | Pea Shoot
- FIVE: Lemon Bar | Blueberry Coulis | Micro Flower
$5 from each ticket purchased will be donated to the nonprofit vegan Ferrets and Friends Sanctuary. This event has sold out previously (we've had to turn people away), so buy your tickets soon! Tickets must be purchased here, and will NOT be sold at the door.
