This interactive workshop explores the science behind laughter and its powerful impact on mental wellbeing. You will learn how laughter triggers feel-good hormones that reduce stress and strengthen social connection. We then link these insights to R U OK? Day, showing how moments of lightness can make meaningful check-ins feel safer and more natural.

Janet Whitfield from Abundant Laughter will guide you through some playful laughter activities and deep breathing exercises to leave you with the confidence to start supportive conversations and share the contagious effects of laughter with others.
