Meet your peers across the digital inclusion space in our collaborative in-person meetup!
Good Things Foundation invites members of our community, including Be Connected Network Partners, digital mentors, tutors and digital inclusion program coordinators to this free event.
Places are limited, please register now to avoid disappointment! Make sure you order your free tea or coffee from Jodi at the Coffee Pod Cafe at the entrance to the library. Then join us on level 1 for the MeetUp event and morning tea. .
Program:
- Meet other community members.

- Special Guest Speaker about Digital Inclusion: Garry Conroy - Cooper, Manager, Launceston Library.
- Workshop: Getting practical! A hands on interactive workshop to help you help others get online.
Come along to learn more about the digital divide and how it impacts Tasmanian communities. Find out about the work happening in local communities to close the digital divide and how your organisation can get involved. Learn some practical skills on how you can help people to get online more safely and confidently in our fun, interactive workshop.

How long does the event go for?
Event registrations begin at 9:30am for a 10:00 am program start. The event will conclude at 12:30 pm.
I can't make it to this event. Can I join online, and will it be recorded?
This event is in-person only. If you want to join us online, you should keep an eye out for our Online events.
Attendees at our former Meetups said they really appreciated the opportunity to meet peers in a physical environment. If you can make it in-person we think you'll have a great time!
How much does it cost to attend?
This event is free to attend.
Who can attend this Meetup?
This Meetup is for staff and volunteers from organisations who wish to close the digital divide. If you are one of our existing Network Partners, a digital mentor, a program coordinator or a community organisation wanting to get involved to close the digital divide, this event is for you.
This event is not designed for people who need help to learn digital skills and get support themselves to get online. If you need help to get online, please contact our friendly team on 1300 795 897.
What is the Be Connected Network?
The Be Connected Network is Good Things Foundation's national network of community organisations who deliver on the ground support programs to help close the digital divide. The Network is free to join and give organisations access to special resources, training and grant funding. Find out more here.
