Event description

Please Join Us for the Mosaics Co-design Project Launch! 🎉

Working Women Queensland are excited to invite you to the launch of the Mosaics Co-design Project.

The Mosaics Co-design Project has culminated in the creation of a worker's rights resource pack that includes an informative flip-book and three video clips. It has been designed to provide legal workplace information to culturally and racially marginalised (CARM) women and gender-diverse people who have recently starting working in Australia.

The flip-book is available in translated edition for Spanish, Farsi, Swahili, Burmese and Dinka speaking workers.

This is a great opportunity to connect, learn more about the project, and discover how you can help spread the word. Community members, practitioners, unions and anyone interested in supporting this vital initiative are welcome to join the event.

The launch will include morning tea, connecting like-minded people, and exploring ways we can work together to ensure this resource is accessible to those who need it most.

Come join us and celebrate the release of this resource!

RSVP and secure your ticket before Friday 18th July.

Date: Wednesday 23rd July 2025

Time: 10AM - 12PM

Location: Mu'ooz, 54 Mollison St, West End QLD 4101.

This resource was co-designed with a collective of CARM community advocates and experts, who have given their time and energy since November 2024. The project was made possible with funding from the Queensland Government Office of Women.
