Event description

The upcoming Launch Pulse Conference is designed to ignite a passion for health, wellbeing, and innovation in recreation within our school community and beyond. Our mission is clear: it's time to pulse forward — rethinking how we approach personal and community health through the power of STEAM and emerging technologies.

Why health and recreation? Because they are essential to a thriving, balanced life. From physical fitness to mental wellbeing and social connection, recreational activities — supported by smart design and technology — play a crucial role in shaping resilient, healthy communities. By engaging with these ideas, students take ownership of their own wellbeing while contributing to more inclusive, active, and connected societies.

Within our school, we promote engagement with health and recreation innovation through a variety of initiatives, including wellness campaigns, creative STEAM projects, and partnerships with local health and community organizations. By embedding these themes into our curriculum and extracurricular activities, we empower students to explore how science, technology, and design can enhance everything from daily movement to emotional wellbeing.

What sets our conference apart? It’s not just about exploring ideas — it’s about applying them. From interactive workshops to real-world design challenges, students use their creativity and STEAM skills to solve problems and develop tools that improve everyday health and recreation. Whether it’s designing inclusive playgrounds, developing apps that promote mindfulness, or engineering sustainable fitness solutions, our students are leading the way.

This year’s theme, "Innovation in Health and Recreation," reflects our commitment to equipping students with the tools to create healthier, more joyful communities. Join us as we harness the full potential of STEAM education to shape a brighter, more active future for all.
