About the Laureate Fellowship
The Australian Research Council’s Australian Laureate Fellowships are among Australia’s most prestigious awards for research excellence, supporting internationally recognised researchers and research leaders. As UTS’s first ARC Laureate Fellow, Distinguished Professor Jie Lu has led an ambitious program advancing autonomous machine learning for data-driven decision making in complex, uncertain and dynamic environments. Together, her team has developed new theories, methods and algorithms that expand the possibilities of computational intelligence and machine learning from large-scale data.
