Welcome to Law: First Year Information Session
Led by Dr Peta Spyrou, First Year Coordinator

This welcome session is designed for all new students commencing a Bachelor of Laws, including those undertaking a double degree, at the University of Adelaide.

Whether you're feeling excited, nervous, or a bit of both, this session is a great starting point for your law school journey. You’ll meet Dr Peta Spyrou, the First Year Coordinator, who will introduce you to what it means to study law, what to expect in your first semester, and how to find support and connection as you settle into university life.

The session will cover:

An introduction to the Adelaide Law School
Tips for managing your workload and understanding university expectations
Key people, services, and supports to know
How to get involved in student life and make the most of your time at law school

There will also be time for questions, connection with your peers, and light refreshments.

Location: Ligertwood 333 (level 3 of the Law School)
Time: 10:10am – 1:00pm, with lunch provided 1-2pm
