Law Week 2026: Spot the Legal Issue
Description
Law Week 2026 is a 2-day intensive program event dedicated to providing valuable legal education and engagement for legal professionals and the wider community.
In a departure from previous years, this year’s event is targeting community organisations and frontline workers to improve access to justice by strengthening legal literacy across the community sector.
Why it matters
Frontline workers are often the first point of contact for clients. Legal issues are frequently missed, or clients are not referred because the problem isn’t recognised, or is seen as too complex, costly, or overwhelming.
Learning outcomes
Practical skills to spot legal issues early
Understanding of when and how to refer clients to legal help
Knowledge of common legal problems in the community
