Welcome to LayLow, brand new night for jazz and more at @therumshack.

Take your shoes off, stretch your legs out on the cosy floor sitting and immerse yourself in music

C.A.L.I.E is one the newest jazz-fusion groups to emerge from Glasgow’s thriving music scene. Led by jazz saxophonist Josie Girgis and consisting of a stellar line-up, this new band promises to treat its audience.

Influenced by hard-hitting fusion groups like Huntertones and Snarky Puppy, C.A.L.I.E presents a set of music that draws in listeners with both its heavy grooves and intricate arrangements. With compositions that draw from a vast range of genres – including jazz, prog, funk, hip-hop and soul – C.A.L.I.E hopes to indulge its audience with an exciting and eclectic set of music.
