Deceptive Lizard is a new project from bass player, Brodie Jarvie. Its aim is simple, to play music that will take the listener on a journey through melodic and harmonic landscapes by melting together the world of effects and electronics with simple folkloric melodies. All five members stand amongst the most innovative contemporary musicians on the scene today and draw influences from all corners of the musical spectrum, from contemporary classical music, traditional folk music and the great void that is improvised music.
