LayLow PRESENTS: MARCO WOOLF

Marco Woolf is a Manchester based singer-songwriter and storyteller. Influenced by the likes of Nick Drake, Joni Mitchell and John Martyn, the music that Marco Woolf makes can prove similarly complex to categorise, his lyrics introspective and insightful - earning him a reputation as a self-evidently skilled storyteller - though thoughtful instrumentation too is just as crucial to his compositions, clearly considered to ensure it possesses comparable weight to his wording.

Marco Woolf will be touring his ‘dream setting’ project, an immersive experience where the audience is invited into Marco Woolf’s world through improvised storytelling and dance. The show will also feature original music written specifically for the project. ‘dream setting’ is supported by Opera North, The Sage and Jazz North.
