Event description

This workshop is delivered by A Gender Agender, ACT’s leading trans, gender diverse and intersex peer support organisation. It is for anyone who wants to better understand and improve their work with these communities. We will explore the basic concepts of sex (bodies) and gender, language used within the intersex, trans and gender diverse community, as well as an deeper understanding of the identities and experiences of these groups with a focus on how these impact on mental health. We’ll provide a judgement-free, welcoming environment where you can ask the questions that you might feel too awkward or embarrassed to ask elsewhere so that you can be a better ally at work and in everyday life.

This event is able to be run online if required due to COVID-10 measures.
