Across Sessions 1 & 2, practitioners from Australia/New Zealand, India, Europe, and Canada brought their experience, challenged assumptions, and explored how neighbourhoods and transport systems might better reflect women's actual lives.

Now we bring those conversations together.

Liveable Cities Collective is thrilled to be partnering with Urban Praxis, Cities Forum, and Policy Roots as a regional collaborator for this international initiative. We are convening a series of three comparative practitioner working sessions across Australia/New Zealand during UN-HABITAT Urban October 2026.

The broader initiative brings together curated cohorts of practitioners from Canada, Europe, India, and Australia/New Zealand.

About the host

Ronika Pistoria is an urban planning practitioner dedicated to advancing inclusive and liveable cities. With vast experience in urbanism research and data-driven planning, she has led city-wide urban planning and sustainable mobility initiatives.

Ronika’s commitment is to promote equitable, accessible, and inclusive cities, with a focus on creative partnerships.
