Welcome to Le Barbier de Séville, or The Barber of Seville, a classic French play full of love, schemes, and satire!

We begin in Seville, where Bartholo, an old, despised doctor, is in love with his young pupil, Rosine, who couldn’t feel more hatred towards him. Despite Bartholo’s jealousy, when she meets the handsome Count Almaviva in disguise, the young lovers hatch a plan to be together with the help of the eccentric Figaro. Come along to see the mishaps, misfortune, and absurdity of this adventure at Pitt St Theater!
