Event description

Le synopsis: Two actresses, running late, arrive to perform "Le malade imaginaire." In their haste, one of them forgets the costumes and props. Not wanting to cancel the performance, they rise to the challenge of performing without costumes and proper props, using all means at their disposal to make it work.

Resume de la piece: Argan, the "malade imaginaire" wants to marry his daughter Angélique, who loves Cléante, to Thomas Diafoirus to have a doctor in the house. Béline, his second wife who is plotting to inherit his fortune, prefers to send the young girl to a convent. With the help of Toinette, the household servant who even disguises herself as a doctor, Béralde, Argan's brother, manages to reveal to Argan Béline's true feelings. Convinced he is dying, Argan successively discovers his wife’s duplicity and his daughter Angélique's love. He agrees to Angélique's wish to marry Cléante and, advised by his brother, decides to become a doctor himself.
