Lead Local: Generations @ Work
Event description
We have developed the Lead Local series of workshops because, here at Regional Development Australia Goldfields Esperance, we believe that building community capacity and developing the skills of our leaders is crucial to the social and economic development of our region.
For our second Lead Local workshop, we have teamed up with regionally based consultant Simone Pickering, from The People & Culture Office, to deliver a no-fluff, real-world workshop focused on the people side of our regional organisations.
Join us for 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 @ 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸, a fun and interactive workshop that unpacks the differences (and similarities!) between Boomers, Gen X, Millennials, Gen Z, and even the emerging Gen Alpha.
For the first time ever, five generations are working side by side. That’s a lot of perspectives, values, and expectations in one workplace — and if you don’t understand them, it can feel like a recipe for conflict instead of collaboration.
💡 You’ll walk away with:
• Practical strategies to connect across age groups
• A clear understanding of how generational experiences shape workplace expectations
• Tools you can use immediately to strengthen communication, collaboration, and culture
✨ This isn’t a lecture — it’s a hands-on, engaging session where you’ll laugh, learn, and leave with real takeaways for your workplace.
As places are limited, RSVPs are essential so please book your ticket today!
