Lead Local

A Conversation About Leadership, Opportunity, and Building Your Future in the Limestone Coast

The future you are looking for might already be here.

Lead Local is a dynamic panel event highlighting opportunities in business, education, entrepreneurship, and community leadership. It showcases how people in the Limestone Coast are building meaningful careers, launching enterprises, strengthening organisations, and contributing to community life.

Lead Local brings those stories together in one powerful conversation.

Meet the Panel

Hear from leaders across business, education, advocacy and community sectors, including representatives from:

Paris Cutting – Lawyer, ASW Lawyers
Sarah Secker – Business Owner and Leadership Program Alumni
Steve Carli-Seebohm – Principal, Penola High School and Leadership Program Alumni
Tessa Deak – Regional Lead, JFA Purple Orange and Leadership Program Alumni
Sam Taylor – Senior Business Banking Manager, Commonwealth Bank and President, Mount Gambier Chamber of Commerce

Each panellist brings a unique perspective on leadership, from executive and organisational roles to hands-on community work. Together, they show that leadership takes many forms and is accessible in many ways.

Why This Event Matters

Strong regional communities grow when people invest their skills, ideas, and energy close to home.

Leadership is not a title.

It is action.

It is responsibility.

It is contribution.

It starts with seeing opportunity.

It continues with stepping forward.

Lead Local is an invitation to do exactly that.
