Leaders for Equity Network Hui #4 (Ōtautahi Christchurch)

How do we activate and supercharge a vibrant network of ‘leaders for equity’ by convening spaces to connect, learn, and be inspired?

Hosted by Leadership Lab in partnership with Christchurch City Council, this hui is part of Leaders for Equity Network - a movement, not just a series. Grounded in Te Tiriti o Waitangi and Leadership Lab’s systems-change approach, these gatherings bring together the skills, insights, and commitment of a diverse group of leaders to inspire and influence real change.

In November 2025, 60 leaders, changemakers and curious souls gathered for the Leaders for Equity Unconference. We look forward to continuing the journey of building this network together in 2026 and if you've not yet joined us, this is your opportunity:

WHEN: Thursday 18 June, 5:30-8:30pm

WHERE: Multicultural Recreation and Community Centre (455 Hagley Avenue, Christchurch Central)

COST: $10 + bf (waged) and $5 +bf (unwaged) - To support sustainability and reduce no-shows, a small registration fee applies. This helps cover kai costs and ensures we can continue hosting these hui.

Equity doesn’t live in isolation - it lives in practice, in people, and in connection. Each hui will feature a range of contributors to deepen the kōrero, spark ideas, and build practical tools.
