Description

Training should be fun, engaging and deliver real actionable skills.

This workshop hits all those points and delivers the powerful tools that new and existing leaders need to better manage people in the workplace.

We've taken the best pieces from the courses we've delivered to our big corporate clients and packaged them for delivery in an open workshop available to both big and small organisations looking to upskill their leaders.

We'll cover topics like:

  • Adjusting leadership approach for better outcomes

  • Understanding and connecting with different personality types

  • Assessing team culture and pulling levers to enhance it

  • Connecting teams to structured goals

  • Effect of attitudes and behaviours on workplace performance

  • Giving effective coaching and feedback

  • Developing emotive intelligence

  • Building personal resilience

  • Speaking to influence

...and much more.

We won't be operating with heads in workbooks or spending our days looking at PowerPoint, we'll be having focused discussions, learning techniques and sharing perspectives.

FAQs

  • I have team members who I'm looking to promote, but who aren't yet leaders, is this the right course?

Yes absolutely! we're all leaders in some form and developing these skills before formally stepping into a team leader role is the perfect way to ease up.

  • I have a team member who really needs to (insert improvement action here) will this course cover that?

If you have specific needs then feel free to call discuss the issue, we can almost always bend the flow of content to land in specific conversations and models that add value to participant needs.

  • I've never heard of Blue Track Training, where have you come from?

We've been around for 20 years now, and almost exclusively delivering training in the big corporate space.

Current and recent clients include Fulton Hogan, Fonterra, Wellington Waters, Claas Harvest Centers, Fletcher Concrete, WorkSafe, KiwiRail, HEB.

We've observed for some time that there's a gap in the offerings to the smaller organizations that don't have resource to run "in-house" training and that's the target of these courses.
