Forum | QLD - Asset and Maintenance Management
Event description
This forum will focus on how well we manage our Shutdowns, Turnarounds and Asset and Maintenance programs.
Every organisation with tangible assets must contend with the physical effects of daily operations.
Asset maintenance allows a company to continue production as equipment and machinery wear and fail. Without asset maintenance, an asset’s lifespan is considerably shorter and the operational limitations of equipment and machinery are greater.
Managing your assets involves developing strategies to optimise the performance and lifespan of your equipment, facilities, and infrastructure. This includes tracking asset performance, scheduling maintenance activities, and analysing data to make informed decisions that maximise asset reliability and value.
This forum will be broken into 2 distinct sub-topics:
- Shutdown and Turnaround management
- Asset Maintenance and Management systems
Shutdown and Turnaround management
Shutdown and Turnaround management involves the planning, execution, and control of shutdown and maintenance activities for industrial plants and facilities. It aims to minimise downtime, ensure safety, and optimise costs. It involves coordinating multiple teams, managing logistics, and prioritising tasks to complete the turnaround as efficiently as possible.
This State Forum will bring together businesses to share what they do well when performing Shutdowns and Turnarounds
