Community Legal Centres Queensland Leadership Forum 2022 brings together leaders from the sector for two days of training workshops.

The 2022 Leadership Forum will take place on the Gold Coast on 9 and 10 November.

The Leadership Forum is for CEOs/Directors, Principal Solicitors and/or Management Committee members of Queensland based community legal centres.  The program will include:

  • PII session
  • Leadership training workshop
  • First Nation's strategy workshop
  • Update from CLCA and chance to meet new CEO, Tim Leach
  • Taking Shelter from the Perfect Storm for Managers and Management Committee presented by knowmore

On Day 1, there is a limit of two staff/committee members from each centre. 

Additional staff or management committee members (up to three) are invited to join on Day 2 for the Taking Shelter from the Perfect storm masterclass and governance workshop. 

Your ticket includes morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. Please notify us of any dietary or accessibility requirements during the registration process.  If you need to provide more information, email communications@communitylegalqld.org.au

    Who can attend the Leaderships Forum?

    CEOs/Directors, Principal Solicitors and/or Management Committee members of Queensland based community legal centres. 

    Is my registration transferable?

    Registrations is not refundable, but another person can attend the event in your place. Please email the details of the person attending in your place so that we can update their name tag and registration details. Email: communications@communitylegalqld.org.au

    Is this a hybrid/virtual option?

    NO. This event is in-person only. 

    I have special dietary and/or access requirements. Who do I tell?

    Please indicate any dietary or accessibility requirements as part of the registrations process. 

    Is there accommodation available?

    There are a number of accommodation options available within a short distance of the venue.  Accommodation is at your own expense. 

    What is included in the cost of the registration?

    Registration includes access to all workshops, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea.  If you wish to join us for dinner/drinks on Day 1, that will be at your own expense.

    *No refunds but registrations are transferable. Please email communications@communitylegalqld.org.au if you need to transfer your registration. *In the event of a postponement, all registrations will be automatically transferred to the new date. * This is an IN-PERSON event. There is no option to attend virtually. * If the event is cancelled by the organisers, all registrations will be refunded in full. *Photos may be taken as part of the forum and maybe be used by CLCQ for promotional purposes. Anyone who wishes to not have their image used - needs to make themselves known to the event organisers.
