In the lead up to NAIDOC Week, join us for a special online conversation centring the voices, stories and leadership of First Nations Fellows of the Williamson Community Leadership Program (WCLP).

This year’s NAIDOC theme, 50 Years of Deadly, is both a celebration and a call to continue the work. It recognises the strength, pride and resilience of First Nations peoples, while looking ahead to the future that will be shaped by community leadership, cultural authority and long-term vision.

In this spirit, the event brings together First Nations Williamson Fellows whose leadership spans community, advocacy, enterprise, health, wellbeing and systems change.

The conversation will feature Helen Kennedy (WCLP ’98), PhD Student & Research Scholar, University of Melbourne, Adrian Appo OAM (WCLP ’99), Founder and Managing Director, Partnerships at First Australians Capital, and Troy Austin (WCLP ’07), Elected Member, First Peoples’ Assembly of Victoria.

It will be moderated by Dayna Seymour (WCLP ’25), Senior Coordinator, Indigenous Student Recruitment and Outreach, Monash University.

Together, they will reflect on leadership, culture, community and the work of creating change across sectors and systems.

This event is open to Alumni and the broader Leadership Victoria community, as well as anyone looking to listen, learn and reflect ahead of NAIDOC Week. It is free for First Nations people.
