2023 Global Leadership Retreat

Join us Friday, November 17, 2023 to Monday, November 20, 2023 for our first-ever Global Leadership Retreat!
Leaders from around the world are invited to join us for a small-group leadership experience where attendees will work together to create new leadership frameworks with the mission of building global leadership capacity.
Blending a style of learning and ideation, the leadership retreat will be partially held at The Modern Honolulu (1775 Ala Moana Blvd, Honolulu, HI 96815) and surrounding areas. The closest airport is Honolulu International Airport.
Attendees are asked to arrive at 5pm on Friday, November 17th. Departure is 11am on Monday, November 20th. Exact schedule and itinerary will be provided shortly after registration.

Facilitators:
Mitty Chang is the CEO & President of Candeavor, an award-winning web development and digital marketing agency based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Mitty's over 15+ years of web engineering coupled with design thinking expertise has led him to help startups and enterprise companies go-to-market and scale their e-commerce channel profits. His clients have included tech giants like Cisco and Samsung, and startups of all sizes. In his free time, Mitty is heavily involved with ideation sessions and Rotary Club – having been actively involved at various levels of Rotary leadership for the past 20 years. At the 2023 Global Leadership Retreat, Mitty will be presenting fundamentals in design thinking with the goal to arm each leader with the tools they need to execute their own design thinking sessions, and will also be helping with the ideation sessions.
Rebecca Fry is a business strategist and leadership coach based in Sydney, Australia. Her vision is a world where people can perform at their best every single day; they are connected to their purpose, energised and able to leverage their passion and talents to have a positive impact on the world. Rebecca's career portfolio includes over a decade in healthcare (including ICON and Johnson & Johnson), and corporate strategy work with local government in Sydney, Australia. Rebecca is the President & Founder of a global leadership coaching business. Rebecca is a certified Global Gallup CliftonStrengths coach with more than 15 years of experience in developing leadership and development programs. In her free time, Rebecca is an avid trail runner and Rotarian. She has been an active member of the Rotary community since 2006, having served in a number of senior roles including Chair of Rotaract Australia and as a member of the Rotary International Strategic Planning Committee. She is the Co-Founder RYLA Oceania and current Chair of the Rotary Fellowship of Leadership Education And Development (LEAD) and enjoys opportunities where she can bring her strategic expertise into driving positive outcomes for her local community. At the 2023 Global Retreat, Rebecca will enhance participants' understanding of the unique value that they bring to any situation and how they can leverage their talents as a leader through the lens of CliftonStrengths.
Ben MacNevin is a career coach who understands how amazing results can be achieved by performing small actions consistently. He is passionate about helping leaders Gain Clarity and Take Action in their personal and professional lives. Ben enjoyed a successful career in funds management, becoming the Head of Operations of a $1 billion fund by the age of 30. He is now helping people make the most of their careers, especially in their 20s and 30s. Ben is the Co-Founder of RYLA Oceania and the President of the Rotary Oceania RYLA Alumni Association (RORAA). The Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) are a life-changing experience for people between 18-30, and Ben has grown immeasurably as a leader as a result of this incredible community. At the 2023 Global Leadership Retreat, Ben will be presenting a session called Goal Setting 2.0, which will increase your leadership capacity on both an individual and team level. Many people are comfortable with goal setting, but this workshop will push your understanding of what’s required to achieve your goals. And if you’re worried that your goals are too big to achieve, this workshop will help to frame any goal in practical steps to steadily work towards together.
