Event description

Leading Australian Resilient Communities is a national collaboration of leaders committed to the future of Australia's regions, supported by the Australian Government's Building Resilient Regional Leaders Initiative (Pilot) Grant.

Hosted by Leadership WA and the Regional Australia Institute, the Kalgoorlie Future Forum is free to attend, offering all members of the community an opportunity to join forces and continue to make a difference.

Building regional resilience isn’t just about the ability to bounce back from adversity – it’s about the ability to bounce forward and to build a future the community has identified. Leadership networks involving a diverse cross-section of communities are an essential part of adapting to change and realising a better future for our regions, and a large focus for this Future Forum.

This Forum will lead deep conversation surrounding the leadership systems already in place within your region, and the important impacts of these on the community. It will also facilitate scenario planning to uncover a strong toolbox for tackling future challenges with adaptive leadership.

By joining us, you will:

  • Gain access to the latest economic and social data of the Goldfields and Esperance regions delivered by the Regional Australia Institute;
  • Discover new insights to support your region and its development; and
  • Learn more about the Leading Australian Resilient Communities 5-day intensive leadership Program on offer.

We're proud to collaborate within your region, and support the strong network of local leaders behind it with place-based leadership development. By registering for this Forum, you're backing a positive future for the Esperance and Kalgoorlie regions.

Tea, coffee and lunch is provided.

Leadership WA reserves the right to call off Future Forums should registrations come in significantly below hopes and projections.
