Content:

Level 2 Leading Wellbeing Workshop content builds on Level 1 foundations of Mental Health in the construction sector, equipping leaders to:

Promote a positive mental health culture by implementing strategies and techniques that prioritise mental wellbeing and foster a supportive work environment.
Respond effectively to crises by employing appropriate management techniques and providing immediate support and intervention.
Manage burnout among team members through identification, intervention, and prevention strategies, ensuring their overall wellbeing.
Emphasise self-care by exploring practices and strategies that enhance personal resilience and model healthy behaviors for the team.
Understand the impact of psychology and leadership styles on team dynamics and performance, facilitating effective leadership strategies.

3 hour workshop.

Andy is a Clinical Psychologist, Building Wellness Workshop facilitator, and Suicide Prevention researcher, passionate about supporting mental health with a focus on men’s mental health and suicide prevention in the construction sector. His journey in research has been nothing short of remarkable, directly contributing to the first research exploring risk factors and men’s help-seeking barriers in the NZ construction industry. He’s a former tennis coach, a keen surfer, and offers tools to support our crew’s mental health through the Building Wellness Buddy and Leading Wellbeing workshops.

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations must be received at least 7 days prior to the workshop date. Any cancellations made after this period will be charged the full workshop fee. No-shows will also be charged 100% of the fee.
