Leading your Church into Growth (LyCiG) is a conference which will inspire and equip clergy and laity to lead their churches in such a way that newcomers are welcomed warmly, people have a genuine encounter with God in worship, parishioners grow in discipleship and contexts are provided that will enable people to engage with the message and love of Jesus. LyCiG offers a proven pathway to growth.
Each parish is invited to send a team of 6 people (or one or two – whatever you can manage) to this year's conference.
Guest speakers include Rev Harry Steel and Ven Rhiannon King both from the Church of England. Harry is from the Anglo-Catholic tradition and Rhiannon is from the charismatic-Evangelical tradition. They're both down-to-earth, entertaining, and experienced church planters and leaders.
Topics covered will include creating a prayerful culture of growth, fruitful evangelism, engaging worship, becoming an inviting and welcoming church, and making a pathway for seekers to become disciples.
Begin shoulder tapping and gathering your team now and plan to be at this important conference. If you went to LyCiG last year, come again and reinforce the learnings. If you didn't attend last year, come for the first time, and find out for yourself what the buzz was all about!
