A great part of the course is that it is truly hands on and includes a dice making factory simulation that is set up to allow participants to understand the presence of Waste and the appropriate LEAN tools to use as they improve their die making factory processes. It has bottlenecks and quality issues and unbalance workloads in its original set up and the team must work together to eliminate the wastes that they see and shows the values of appropriate KPIs to track the process improvements made.
