Leap Concert
Event description
We created a tradition 4 years ago to celebrate each Leap Year with a concert where local musicians performed music that they always wanted to but never tried, the things that excite but also scare them just a little. It’s an opportunity to face a fear and tick something off the bucket list with an appreciative audience witnessing - a Leap!
The idea stems from organiser Esther Cooke, who’s mum died on a Leap Day 16 years ago and ever since she’s used Leap Days as an opportunity to challenge herself to do something that scares her, something that expands her understanding of herself and something that encourages others to do the same.
Bring your own food and drink, bring an open heart and mind and support some excellent musicians.
Children under 12 years are free so no need to buy tickets. 😁
