Come along to this informative workshop during National Recycling week run by Toby Whittington the CEO of GREEN WORLD REVOLUTION + Made in the City of.

You will learn all about plastic lids; why plastic lids are not being recycled via conventional means and what we are doing about it, including:

What plastics are usable and what we can use them for.
How to sort lids into the right categories for recycling.
How to clean and crush plastics to become a valuable input material.
The different techniques we use to remake plastic products.
How to make new plastic products from plastic lids.

Each Participant will get to make and take home their own Keep Smiling Key Ring made from 100% recycled plastic!

Photography will be conducted at the workshops. Please advise staff if you do not wish to be included in photos that may be used for promotional purposes.

A light afternoon tea will be served.
