Learn all about Plastic Recycling

Come along to this informative workshop during National Recycling week run by Toby Whittington the CEO of GREEN WORLD REVOLUTION + Made in the City of.
You will learn all about plastic lids; why plastic lids are not being recycled via conventional means and what we are doing about it, including:
- What plastics are usable and what we can use them for.
- How to sort lids into the right categories for recycling.
- How to clean and crush plastics to become a valuable input material.
- The different techniques we use to remake plastic products.
- How to make new plastic products from plastic lids.
Each Participant will get to make and take home their own Keep Smiling Key Ring made from 100% recycled plastic!
Photography will be conducted at the workshops. Please advise staff if you do not wish to be included in photos that may be used for promotional purposes.
A light afternoon tea will be served.
* Please note that priority for this workshop will be given to City of Perth residents.
