    Event description

About the Lived Experience Advocacy Reflection Network (LEARN):

LEARN is a reflective space for connection amongst people in South Australia interested in or new to using their lived experiences with mental health and other life challenges for advocacy.
When shared for a purpose our story is a powerful tool that helps us connect with others and offer insight. Join us as we explore tools and strategies to use our experiences for change.

    Who is LEARN for:

LEARN provides a regular opportunity for consumers within South Australia that may be interested in or new to advocacy, to connect and explore how using their personal experiences with mental health and other life challenges can benefit others.

    When and Where:

In the first half of 2024 LEARN will meet 6 weekly and alternate between face to face connection in Adelaide and Online connection via Zoom.

Topic: Reflecting on past or future advocacy

This LEARN session will focus on providing a space to critically think about about past advocacy and/or reflect and plan for future advocacy.
There will multiple virtual work sheets available and options for how to reflect and plan that can also be adapted for how it works best for your unique brain.

It is a large project that is focused on increasing skills, knowledge, confidence and the overall capacity of the Lived Experience Community in South Australia. LEARN is a place for people who have participated in LEDGE workshops or online modules to connect, reflect and network.
