For parents looking to mix up the school day, or for anyone interested in learning more about ways we can together, move towards zero waste. Content suitable for school-age children from Foundation to Years 4, but all ages welcome including adults.

Hosted by expert educators, you will be introduced to the concept of "take, make, dispose" and learn how to transform waste into valuable resources.

Participants will learn how to:

Reimagine an old t-shirt into a reusable bag
Rethink waste as a resource
Reduce single-use plastic to landfill
Reuse and repurpose materials to make something new and useful.

What you need for the session:

Scissors (an adult helper if under the age of 11)
An old t-shirt to cut up
Tablet or mobile device - download the free Zoom app
PC or laptop - allow the Zoom extension file download request

Important notes:

Registrations close 12pm on the day of the event (1 October)
You will be sent a unique URL in your confirmation email and a reminder email with the link on the day of the session.
The session will open 10 minutes before the scheduled start
We use Zoom Video Conferencing to deliver virtual learning sessions
