Led by renowned harmonica player, Capt Bluetongue, (The Blues Preachers & The Marvellous Hearts) this workshop promises to be an interactive and educational experience. You'll learn essential techniques, explore different styles, and even get a chance to jam with fellow harmonica enthusiasts. Don't miss out on this incredible opportunity to expand your musical horizons and have a blast in the process. Reserve your spot now and get ready to unleash your inner blues maestro!

Then stick around for a special live music gig by the wonderful trio, The Marvellous Hearts Trio; an intimate musical experience featuring Capt Bluetongue's original songs, beautifully stripped back to acoustic guitar, violin, and double bass. Capt Bluetongue's gritty, heartfelt vocals and lyrics lead the way, while Carlyn Chen's violin adds depth and emotion, weaving through the stories told in the songs. Si Costello's double bass provides a steady, resonant heartbeat, grounding the music with soulful rhythms.

Their performances invite you on a journey through themes of joy, hope, human connection, and the complexities of life. This trio has earned acclaim from folk peers and festival audiences, with recent highlights including performances at The Verandah Music Festival in Tasmania, The Northern Beaches Music Festival, Southern Sydney Folk Club, and intimate house concerts across NSW.

Don't miss the chance to experience their enchanting blend of music and storytelling live. Includes free entry to the Captain Bluetongue and the Marvellous Hearts gig afterwards!

This is an all ages event (Under 18s to be accompanied by an adult) in a fully accessible venue.
