Come join us for an afternoon of fun activities, you would make some new friends while learning to code some cool websites! Never done coding before? That’s why you should come try something out of your way and make new friends who are out of your way! Life needs some surprises!
Who are we?
We are a group of people who care about each other and would like to make the place we are in and the day we are at a little more pleasant for each other by doing some fun activities together. We like to think coding as a media to bring us together. In this afternoon, we will work on the same goal and help each other along the way. At the end of the day, we will all share the happiness and achievements of our collective learning. Why should I come and learn to code?
Because coding is fun. You can pick up a new hobby or a future career, right here, with us - some very friendly people. You will get to build your own very cool websites that you can share with friends and family.
If you are still not sure, maybe this article can change your mind.
Do I need experience in coding to join?
No, no coding experience needed, we will guide you from the beginning.
Already know HTML and CSS? Still come and you can help other people out, and build some websites to share with everyone here.
But you do need to bring your own laptop. If you don’t have one and you still like to join, let us know and we will see if we can arrange something for you.
What will happen during the workshop?
1:00 pm: Introduction
1:30 pm: Learning starts
2:30 pm: Build your own websites using your new learnings and the help of others
3:30 pm: Review, games & prizes
4:00 pm: We say bye to each other but hopefully we will meet again soon
What will I get out of this workshop?
Firstly of all, you will meet some nice people. And on top of that, you will gain knowledge about coding and have a finished cool website to take home, or maybe half finished and you can continue to work on after the workshop. It's worth the afternoon of your time and energy.
