This course is taught by Derrick Yanford, founder of Your Best Self Meditation. This is a three consecutive day course (1/13, 1/14, 1/15) taught live (online via zoom) from 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm ET each day. Once completed, you will have the proper skills to be a fully self-sufficient daily meditation practitioner. A skill you will have for the rest of your life!

Unlike other techniques, there is no need to “clear your mind” or “sit like a yogi” to gain the benefits. Specifically designed for busy people with busy lives, we actually achieve great results by doing very little which is why it is often referred to as the “lazy person’s” meditation.

Each participant with be given a mantra — a settling sound designed to de-excite the mind that leads the body into a dynamic restful state triggering what’s known as the “relaxation response”. As a group we will practice together, share our experiences, commune with one another as I answer any and all questions you have regarding proper practice.

ABOUT DERRICK YANFORD

Derrick is a former performing artist, dance instructor, director, and choreographer who broke into the industry at the early age of 15. His work can be seen on film, stage, and television and has been performed across the globe. After learning to meditate over 10 years ago, Derrick traveled to India immersing himself in a certified training program whereupon his return founded his own center, Your Best Self Meditation, to share this ancient wisdom with others.
