Notes • Frequency • Vibration • Resonance

This is your simple introduction to the theory behind what you're hearing.

We'll introduce four important concepts:

NOTE — the musical identity commonly given to a pitch.

FREQUENCY — the rate of vibration, measured in Hertz.

RESONANCE — how vibration and sound continue and interact with their environment.

OVERTONES — additional frequencies that contribute to the richness and complexity of what we hear.

We'll also introduce the commonly used contemporary seven-note chakra framework:

C — Root

D — Sacral

E — Solar Plexus

F — Heart

G — Throat

A — Third Eye

B — Crown

This is an introduction rather than an attempt to turn Discovery into a complete chakra course.

Our principle is:
