Learn to Ride Workshops - WA Bike Month
Description
The City of Vincent, in partnership with WestCycle, is delivering a free Learn to Ride workshop series this WA Bike Month to help community members build confidence and practical cycling skills!
The workshops are designed for beginners and “rusty riders” looking to improve their confidence and safety when riding.
Participants will work with experienced instructors to learn practical riding skills including braking, turning, gear shifting and safe riding techniques in a supportive environment.
These workshops are suitable for all ages. For children we note that they must be tall enough to ride a push bike.
The three sessions will focus on bike riding skills and confidence building:
Saturday 17 October | 10am – 11.30am
Saturday 31 October | 10am – 11.30am
Saturday 7 November | 10am – 11.30am
Please note participants must bring a bike and a helmet for each session.
Registrations are free, but essential.
