Blush Cherry Tulle Skirt and Painted Bag Workshop (with matching skirt for a doll or teddy)

Sew fun for kids! is a place to learn all about sewing while making fun projects that you can take home and treasure.

In this beginners school holiday workshop you will learn how to make a beautiful tulle skirt and paint a cherry bag.

This beginners workshop is suitable for children aged 5 and up. 

You will learn how to:

- sew a straight line on a sewing machine (with supervision and assistance)

- paint on fabric

- construct a simple bag

- make a matching skirt for a doll or teddy.


All fabrics and accessories are included. 

You will need to bring along morning tea and water bottle. Please do not include any food items that contain nuts or traces of nuts.

Please note: we also have an afternoon workshop available where you can learn to cross stich with a needle and thread. 

if you are booking for both the morning and afternoon workshop, please bring along a packed lunch as well to eat between the workshops.

Sew fun for kids! accepts Service NSW Creative Kids vouchers.

If you would like to use a voucher, select the Creative Kids voucher ticket. The ticket price will be reduced to reflect the use of the $50 voucher. You will also be required to enter:

- the voucher number

- your child's name

- your child's date of birth.

All of these details are required for me to register your voucher.

If you have a gift certificate, please select the gift certificate ticket.

A minimum of 4 children are required for the workshop to go ahead. 


The workshops run from 9am to 12pm at 4/31 Terminus St, Castle Hill. Our studio has an internal toilet so children do not need to leave the studio during the day.

Please note, we are unable to provide a refund if a cancellation is made less than two weeks prior to the workshop as we will have purchased all of the fabrics and accessories for your child. In the event you are unable to attend we are very happy to provide you with the fabric kit and pattern instructions for you to pick up from the studio and create at home.
