Join local artist Kirrily Jordan in a fun weaving workshop and make your own pair of gorgeous raffia earrings - perfect as a gift to yourself or for a loved one! 

Enjoy a delightful, creative day where you’ll meet lovely people, unwind with the soothing art of weaving, and pick up some new skills along the way. No experience? No problem! Everything you need is provided.

What you'll learn:         

• How to work with raffia fibres 
• The tools you’ll need 
• A simple and versatile running stitch you can apply to future projects
• Shaping your earrings
• Adding jewellery hooks 

This workshop is great for beginners and intermediate weavers. Our focus is on exploration, play and self-expression, not perfection! 

All materials for the day and some delicious snacks are provided.

About me: I am a non-Indigenous weaver born and grown on Ngunnawal, Ngambri, Dharug and Guringai country. The weaving I share has been handed down from many traditions and where appropriate is passed on with permission.
