Event description

Developing life skills for people with disabilities is a vital part of everyday living, developing self- help skills

and a persons independence. Teaching skills around this area needs to be individualised according to each person’s preferences, abilities and needs.

This workshop will go through aspects of life skills and examples, strategies for teaching and supporting the individual. It is intended for carers, parents and people who provide support to individuals with a disability.
