LEARNING THE SHAMAN’S PATH WORKSHOP - THE WAY IN

The mission of the Shaman is to manifest our true nature without intentionally harming anyone - to live, love and leave a legacy. Living is the goal, living with purpose. Life is your vision quest. Life is the greatest teacher. Reading about shamanism will not make you a shaman. You must set in motion the process of transformation by your intention, belief and behaviour. Most of all you must believe you are a Shaman. You transform into a Shaman by your beliefs and actions. No one can make you a Shaman. Your goal in life is to be fully human, to enjoy and revel in the blue sky, the silver moon, a thirst-quenching drink of cool water, the sweet perfume of a flower. You cannot become a shaman without sustained and regular practice over a long period of time. Our responsibility is to begin each morning upon awakening with purpose. The daily quest is to connect with the beauty of life and to make a difference. The Shaman chooses self-responsibility and co-empowerment as a way of life.

These two days provide the first steps on your new path. The lessons are broken up into two hours each - 10am -12 noon - break for lunch - 1pm - 3pm

Day 1 THE SHAMANS PATH

Teaches understanding and application of the ‘The Shamans Principles’, a system all shamans use to live by and practice as their craft. The aim of this day is to make the practitioner aware of the occult importance of physical symptoms in our bodies. Learn the aspects of consciousness, a way of understanding the Mind Body Spirit connection and how it functions in relation to the dis-ease process, unhealthy emotions and what you can use to change that relationship.

Day 2 THE MEDICINE WHEEL AND TOTEMS ( requires each participant to have their birth chart)

The Shaman connects the Zodiac, Australian, New Zealand and North American Wheels, to recognize the aspects you were born with and how they influence your purpose. Totem means talisman, a natural object or animal that has spiritual significance. We often see animal likenesses around us when we look in the clouds above, in trees, or we may be visited by certain birds or animals in nature, in our neighbourhood or in our dreams. Knowing your totems may provide guidance along your path and teach you aspects of yourself.
