    If you're looking to learn about sustainable and eco-friendly leather crafting, our reclaimed leather design course is perfect for you! 

    This 4-week course will teach you how to work with reclaimed leather and leather alternatives (vegan leather), which is a great way to reduce waste and give new life to old materials. You'll learn how to properly clean and prepare reclaimed leather, as well as various techniques for cutting, stitching, and finishing.

    You will be making and learning about the following:

    WEEK 1 – Make leather earrings and basic leather work skills

    WEEKS 2, 3 and 4  - Make a leather over the shoulder bag

    This course will give you the knowledge and confidence to create beautiful, sustainable leather goods.  

    Join us on a journey of creativity and self-expression.

    When: Every Wednesday 1 May to 22 May, 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm 

    Where: West Auckland's RE: MAKER SPACE, 6 Westgate Drive, Massey, Auckland.

    Parking: 

    We have three on-site carparks available for your convenience. Additionally, on-street parking surrounds the venue, and the Massey Leisure Centre is situated across the road. To ensure good neighbourly relations, kindly refrain from parking in spaces designated for our neighbours.
