Join us for Sydney Craft Week in our Lewisham studio for an interactive workshop. In this workshop, you'll learn how to create a beautiful and practical refillable leather journal. Participants will be guided through leather-cutting, personalised monogramming, and journal construction by the Corban & Blair team. Along the way, you’ll learn about the materials, craftsmanship and design thinking behind our products, as well as our company’s dedication to sustainability, Australian-made, and circular design.
All materials will be provided, and no prior experience is required.
This workshop is suitable for adults and youth aged 16+.
FAQs
- What materials will be provided?
We will have journal covers ready for assembly, as well as elastics, leather offcuts to cut out, paper inserts and toggles.
- Can we personalise the journal?
Absolutely! We have a monogramming machine where participants can emboss their initials/ name on their journal. Leather offcuts are also provided so you can get creative with the different charms you can make and add. Experimentation with colour, forms and shape is highly encouraged. Feel free to BYO charms as well.
- Will someone guide us through the process?
Yes, there will be Corban & Blair staff that will help and guide participants throughout the whole process.
- What kind of leather will we be using?
Genuine leather sourced from New Zealand.
- What size will the journal be?
It will be an A6 size journal. Perfect for those who travel or are on-the-go.
