Leathercraft: Dog Collar Workshop

Learn basic leather craft skills with designer/leather artisan Katja Handt in this fun three-hour workshop open to anybody who fancies making a beautiful leather collar for their dog. Try your hands at cutting, bevelling, and burnishing a collar, learn the basics of traditional saddle stitching and how to set your own hardware. Along the way pick up some general knowledge about leather as a material and how to look after it.

What you will get:

• Premium vegetable tanned leather (choose from 3 classic colours) and hardware (black, antique brass or matt nickel)
• All tools and materials to be used in class are provided.
• A custom dog collar handmade by you
• free personalisation of your collar, get their name (and your number!) embossed!

Suitable for:

This class is perfect for beginners - no prior experience is needed. 

What to bring:

Just yourself and an old dog collar or a neck measurement of your dog. I am really sorry but I have to ask you to leave your dog at home, our studio is not well suited for them to hang out.

Please note that I will need at least 6 students in this class. Should I need to cancel, I will notify you at least two days prior to the class and you will receive a full refund.
