Lee Gambin's Wake

As we all know, Buddy was the most important part of Lee's life. The Chapel of Repose at Altona Memorial Park was chosen for Lee's funeral as it was the only venue that would allow Buddy to attend. The chapel holds about 100 people standing and we know how loved Lee is, so we wanted to offer a space for people to gather to watch a live stream of Lee's service. Those attending Lee's funeral are welcome to gather here for his wake directly after the service. 

Please join us to celebrate the monumental life of Lee Gambin on Friday the 14th of June at Flemington & Kensington Bowls Club (407-411 Racecourse Rd, Flemington) from 1pm to 9pm. Live stream will commence at 2pm. 

In the spirit of Lee, this event is very DIY and we would be eternally grateful if you are able to bring a plate of food. We will have access to a BBQ. Some food will be provided and drinks will available at bar prices.

There is limited parking at the venue, but ample street parking

Public Transport

Take the 57 West Maribyrnong tram and jump off at stop 28 Smithfield Rd/Racecourse Rd. The venue is only a one minute walk away.
